Human Hair Extensions |  Synthetic Hair  |  Sew Ins  | Custom Hair Color for Extensions

I have worked with many types of extensions and have witnessed first hand the most important thing about extensions. There is no such thing as a universal hair extension that is perfectly suited for every hair type and texture.  But that's the beauty of today's assortment of hair extensions.  They are produced in a variety of textures, colors, effects and densities so that they can be easily blended in with your natural hair, whether you have fine straight hair or thick curly hair. I can color match your hair and start with a shade range that is as close as possible to the color you want, and I can further customization if necessary.

Some of Izzy's Clients with Hair Extensions

Before deciding the best type of extensions for a client, I consider all factors. Hair thickness, lifestyle... even factors like dry vs oily. I find my selection of hair extensions covers all the bases:

  • Tape ins
  • Hand Tied Wefts with a Beaded Row
  • Brazilian Hand Tied Wefts (No Beads)
  • MicroBead Extensions (Fusions)
  • Crochet Braids & Sew In Weaves

Tape In Hair Extensions

Tape in extensions are designed to be lightweight and very discreet to mimic the look of hair growing from the scalp.  These are a popular service because as far as cost goes, they are some of the most affordable hair extensions.  Because they apply with medical grade adhesive strips, they have an express application. I can apply a full head of tape in extensions in about an hour, give or take.

I recommend them for anyone with fine or thin hair.

  • Fastest installation method
  • Available in straight, wavy and curly textures
  • Lengths from 12" to 30"
  • Hair can be re-applied up to 3 times
  • 5 to 6 months of total wear

For tape in extensions, I use Bellami and Donna Bella professional hair extensions. Learn more about them here:

Hand Tied Extensions with a Beaded Row

Hand Tied Extensions are wefts of hair (either machine finished or hand finished) which attach with a beaded row method using a combination of nylon string and silicone beads. First I attach a row of pre-strung beads then I attach wefts of hair to the beads using a needle and thread. They are designed to lay close to the scalp for maximum comfort and wearability.

I recommend them for anyone who wants to add a lot of volume or length, or with hair that tends to be oily.

  • Highly customizable with different densities
  • Available in straight, wavy and curly textures
  • Lengths from 14" to 24"
  • Hair can be re-applied up to 5 times
  • 6 months of total wear

For hand tied wefts, I use Bellami and Donna Bella professional hair extensions.

Brazilian Knots Hand Tied Extensions

Brazilian Hand Tied Extensions apply without any beads, only a special elasticized thread.

Micro Bead Hair Extensions

Also called I Link extensions, this strand-by-strand method attaches to the hair with a tiny bead, no glue or heat is required.

  • Tons of pre-colored options
  • Available in straight, wavy and curly textures
  • Lengths 16", 18" and 22"

I use the Donna Bella line, made with 100% human Remy hair.

Crochet Braids & Weaves

Crochet braids and sew in weaves share a similar sew in application. Both methods start by securing hair into a protective style which encourages the natural hair to grow. This is appealing when your hair needs a break from regular blowouts, heat styling, and chemical relaxers.

Crochet Braids mimic naturally kinky hair, and add length and fullness to your style by attaching braids or twists of various patterns, textures, lengths, and colors. With crochet braids, you have your natural scalp exposed so it can "breath." Braids are lightweight so there's no tension on the scalp. Although the hair is synthetic, if installed and knotted correctly, they look just like your natural hair.

Weaves last longer and are more of an investment. Weaves use a similar sew in method but offer more texture variety.  You're not limited to braids, hair can be straight, kinky, or  loose and wavy. The hair itself can be human hair, synthetic, or a mix which makes weaves very blend-able.

Free Hair Extensions Consultation

If you're new to hair extensions, I suggest you come in for a free consultation. We can talk about your hair and style you want, which will help me determine the best approach. Your hair type, desired style and current length are big determining factors when it comes to selecting the right type of hair extensions for you.

While you're here, I can give you an estimate for the service.  Pricing varies depending on the brand and technique used, and the amount of hair needed. There is no charge for a hair extensions consultation but a credit card will ultimately be required to secure your appointment.

Request a hair extensions consultation by submitting a consultation form below.  An alert will come directly to me and I'll contact you with some available dates and times.
